Ceramic plate hand made in the Oaxaca Valley by female artisans with natural clay. The process begins by drying in the sun and then a wood fire is carefully built around the ceramics. Since the ceramics are pit-fired without using a kiln, the burning wood creates these beautiful and unique markings making each piece truly one of a kind.
Please handle with care if used to hold water as the unglazed clay is porous and may seep through.
